Execution You Can Trust The Execution Runtime guarantees that workflows complete successfully — even through process crashes, server restarts, and network partitions. Every workflow step is checkpointed to durable storage. Failed steps retry with configurable policies (fixed, exponential, linear backoff with jitter). Concurrency controls prevent resource contention — limit how many instances of a workflow can run simultaneously. Dead-letter queues capture permanently-failed executions for manual investigation and retry.
