Workflows That Never Fail The DXP Workflow Engine provides durable execution guarantees — workflows survive process crashes, server restarts, and network partitions. Every step is checkpointed to persistent storage, and failed steps retry with configurable exponential backoff. Saga compensation handles distributed transactions: when a downstream step fails, all previously-completed steps automatically execute their compensation logic (e.g., reverse a payment, cancel a reservation, revert a content change).
