Decision Frames and Commitment Boundaries
Defines alternatives, criteria, stakeholders, constraints, evidence, time horizon and decision authority before analysis begins.
METIS is Babadook's foundational decision-science core. It structures alternatives, constraints, preferences, uncertainty and authority before a recommendation is allowed to appear.
The core supports value and utility models, outranking, compromise methods, robust ordinal regression, stochastic acceptability, regret, deep uncertainty, group choice and value-of-information analysis. It preserves vetoes, incomparability, dissent and sensitivity instead of forcing every decision into one weighted score.
A recommendation remains distinct from commitment and execution. When evidence or preferences change, METIS creates a reassessment trail rather than rewriting the original decision.
METIS does not decide for the accountable owner. It does not turn preferences into facts, rankings into authority or group aggregation into consensus. Its job is to make the structure and consequence of a decision inspectable.
A demo of one core is a tech talk. A demo of the connected estate is a reckoning. Book the second one.
